25TH ANNIVERSARY
Congratulations to the local ladies who were honoured recently to mark 25 years since they helped Inniskeen ladies team win the 1994 Monaghan and Ulster Club Senior football Championships. Sisters Mairead and Roisin Mulholland, twin sisters Aine and Martina Quigley, sisters Voureen, Karen and team captain Yvonne Quigley, joined their team mates and mentors for the celebration on Bank Holiday weekend. Voureen and Yvonne also helped Monaghan win the 1994 National Football league but they lost to Waterford in the All Ireland Championship Final. It was a busy year for Voureen as she also won county and Ulster championships at U16 and minor and went on to win the minor All Ireland Final with Monaghan.
