Christmas Cattleboat sails in

The Christmas edition of the Cattleboat Food Festival is set to anchor at the Spirit Store on Saturday from 12 noon.

Following the success of the summer event, the format for Dundalk’s biggest food festival remains the same - but with a festive twist.

Once again there will be a tempting varied of food vendors including Blasta Street Kitchen and Oisin and Zoe from Dark Horse Pizzas serving up hot and cold food . For those with a sweet tooth, there’s Wee ChoCo c.i.c, Baked with Love serving pancakes, Carville and McGrath on the cakes and confection­ery, while XXI ICE serving some seriously weird and wonderful ice cream treats. To wash it all down, there’s Coole Swan liquor, Dan Kelly’s Cider, Boyne Brewhouse, Listoke Distillery and Gin School, while Laura of Great Northern Larder is special non-alcoholic Mulled Wine, Wee ChoCo c.i.c will be serving hot chocolate, and Koffy Limited is brewing coffee.

For anyone wanting to do Christmas shopping, Great

Northern Larder will have their triple packs and hampers, FruitonClu­b with Fruitons and Fruistille­s, Newgrange Gold with Rapeseed and Flax oil gift packs, Sarah and Mart’s Art with cool glass art for serving food, Olive Oil Ireland with premium Olive Oil gifts, Unglu-d with Gluten Free gifts and hampers, Hilda’s Homemades with preserves and jams.

The Spirit Store bar will also be open, serving coffees and drinks, and there will be live music, music, elves, and kids activities. Admission free.
