Christmas parties in full swing at the Carnbeg

-

ONE venue I just had to hit on the Christmas Party trail was the Carnbeg Hotel and when we got there the party was already in full swing.

I wasn’t too long in the door when I met up with some of the gang from the Acute Medical Assessment Unit in the Lourdes Hospital who were in real party mode and they included birthday girl Brenda English from Forkhill, Blaithín Marron from Carrickmacross, Orlagh Flynn from Woodville Manor and Denise Bergin from Garrybawn who were up for making it a mad night with all their workmates.

They were joined by Nicola McElroy from Monaghan, Niamh Fergus from Cluan Enda who wanted a major shout out for her fiancée Patrick Malone from Cooley, Sajam Badu from Castlebellingham who told me he was really looking forward to an excellent night to celebrate Christmas.

Also in their company were Bing Bomafe from College Manor, Michelle Tuite, and Jane Boothman all from Drogheda who were all looking extremely well and couldn’t wait for the night to really get going.

Next I headed over for a chat with some of the staff from the Red Rose Café who were out for a major night of fun and caught up with Bernie Tuite from Oaklawns, Gillian Carroll from Maple Close, David and Sabrina Gray from Glenwood, Catriona Murphy from Cooley, Gerard and Belinda Martin from Ballsmill who were in great form and really looking forward to the meal and the dancing afterwards.

I then caught up with a family group who included Liz, Amy and Rebecca Caplin from Tallanstown and Chloe Boyle from Annagassan who were all looking stunning and were going to make a fantastic night of it.

Two ladies who also with the AMAU group were whom I met next, Mary Boyle and Helen Ladley both from Marian Park were enjoying the champagne reception and were ready to party on with their friends.

Just arrived in the door were the ladies from McEvoys who were looking well and were in form for some fun and they included Joanne and Jennifer McEvoy, Serena Yore from Castlebellingham, Nora Whelan from Toberona, Maura Rainey from Jenkinstown who were then joined by Elaine Fergus from Parnell Park and Mary Callan from Castle Heights who were looking forward to the party and weren’t too sure who’d be opening up the following morning!

After this I headed over for a chat with some of the girls from Tusmaith Montessori and they included Siobhan Moore from Drogheda, Sabrina Burke from Monasterboice, Yvonne Dunne and Cathy Matthews both from Tenure, Siobhan Tuohy from Duleek and Fiona Tenanty from Dunleer who were already in party mode and making the very best of the party.

Finally, before I departed, I got a word with the Shapes and Sizes Creche party revellers and they included Pat McGee from Brid-a-crinn, Grainne Campbell from Dromintee, Caroline Fagan from Ashling Park, Rebecca Toner from Castle Park, Barbara Kelly from Avenue Road, Margaret McCabe from Blackrock, Mary G. from Mary Street North, and Emma Smyth from Inniskeen who were all looking stunning and were getting themselves ready for the festive celebrations together.
