Goals crucial as Annaghminnon earn win

- KEVIN MULLEN SHIELD

ANNAGHMINNON Rovers picked up their first win of the season when they defeated Sean McDermotts in Group D of the Kevin Mullen Shield at Darver on Thursday night.

The Stonetown side pushed on in the second half as the McDermotts challenge faded and further goals from Conor Russell and Dylan Mulholland secured a confidence-boosting victory.
