COOLEY Kickhams had it all their own way against Kilkerley Emmets as four first-half goals made for a one-sided Drogheda Independent Minor Football League clash in Kilkerley.

O’RAGHALLAIGHS kicked off their 2020 season against the combined St Joseph’s / St Mochta’s side. The strong combination team established themselves with a couple of early scores. Points from Ben Smyth and Kyle McElroy put the O’Raghallaighs on the scoreboard though to make it 1-7 to 0-2 at half-time.

With four substitutions coming on during the interval, O’Raghallaighs refreshed with a goal from Lee Grifferty shortening the gap between the teams. The combination outfit soon recovered, scoring multiple points to retain their lead. Despite a second goal from O’Raghallaigh’s Ben Sweeney, the final score stood at 1-14 to 2-04.
