‘We have chosen the date of Sunday 28th June, however you are more than welcome to complete your walk on another date if that suits you better,’ said a spokeswoman

‘You can walk our traditional route which starts and finishes at the Spirit Store Dundalk or any other route of similar distance.’

‘ To take part all we ask is for a donation of €10, this can be made via the Facebook donation button on our page or via PayPal to newbuild@ dundalkdogrescue.ie’

‘If you feel you are able to raise some extra sponsorship from your family & friends please contact us and we can arrange to get a sponsor card to you.’

The charity are encouraging everyone who is taking part to take a photo on their walk and send it to them to enjoy and share.
