RETURN TO TRAINING
Thankfully with restrictions being eased St. Mochtas can now get back to training once all courses are completed. The club are also hoping to restart their fund raising 50/50 in the near future. Tickets can be had from any committee member or any of the local shops.
SPECIAL BIRTHDAY
We send congratulations to popular local business man Breffni O Rourke who celebrated a special birthday last week end. Despite of all the restrictions Breffni and friends enjoyed the celebrations.
GREEN MACHINE
The council Green Machine will be in the village this coming Thursday. If anyone has any weeds or rubbish or weeds that on the footpath especially up towards the football field should brush them on to the road and they will be lifted by the machine. The C.E. workers will be on duty. We thank Mary Mc. Donnell for organising this.
DEEPEST SYMPATHY
We send our deepest sympathy to the friends and relations of the Late Gerry Woods, Ednaquinn, Corcreaghy, Louth whose death took place on Saturday 13th June at Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital Drogheda. Gerry was a popular man and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Una and sons Mathew Martin Vinny and Danial also daughter Grainne. Gerry’s funeral Mass took place in The Church Of The Immaculate Conception Louth last Tuesday where the celebrant was Fr. Sean Mc. Ardle P.P. Louth and burial afterwards to adjoining cemetery.

FIRST COMMUNION
The Sacrament of First Holy Communion will be celebrated on Saturday, September 19, at 11.00am. Confirmation takes place on Saturday, August 22, at 11.00am.

The Alone organisation has launched a national support line for older people who have concerns or face difficulties relating to Coronavirus. Professional Staff are available to answer queries, give advice or reassurance if necessary. This support line is open 7 days a week from 8.00am to 8.00pm and the number to call is 0818222024.

Welcome into the parish community Dylan James Dunn who was baptised on Saturday, June 13, and Adelyn Concepta Hoey, who was baptised on Sunday June 14.
PARISH NEWS
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament has resumed on Tuesdays, from 10.15am to 10.00pm. Week day masses with a congregation present, resume on Monday next June 29, and weekend masses resume on July 4/5. Covid signage and sanitizing will be in the church.
Ushers will be present to guide seating arrangements. A Covid 19 Parish Support Team is now in place and will work towards the full reopening of Parish Life. If you are interested in joining this team please contact Fr Gerry. Attendance at funeral Masses is limited to 25 people. Live Streaming of Masses and Services taking place in the church have now resumed with a new provider ‘’churchmedia.tv’ so log this in to your system and scroll to the church photo. Sunday mass takes place at 11.30am. Mass is also celebrated at 9.30am via webcam, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for all parishioners and for those who have contracted the Coronavirus as well as for those who are caring for them at home or in hospital.
