Desmond (Des) McGarrity, Hilltop Terrace, Murgasty, Tipperary Town and formerly Birmingham, England and Whitestown, Greenore, whose death occurred, peacefully, on 20 June, 2020. Predecease­d by his first wife Mary, parents John and Brigid and sister Kathleen. Very deeply regretted by his wife Sylvia and step children Kathrine, Michael and Cristian. Also by his nephew Sean and niece Lisa (Blackpool, England) and all his other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Rice Funeral Directors, Chapel Lane, Carlingfor­d (eircode A91 TY79) on Tuesday from 4.00pm - 7.00pm. Those calling to pay their respects are asked to observe strict government guidelines on social gatherings and distancing. Removal on Wednesday morning at 10.30am to Our Lady Star Of The Sea Church, Boher, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11.00am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. James Thomas (Jimmy) Flynn, Rockmount Gardens, Carrick Road and formerly Little Mills, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 19 June, 2020, peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Beloved husband of Rosemarie (nee Farrell), dear father of Rosie, Adrian, Laura, Jackie, Alison, Cecilia, Maureen, Deirdre and the late Sinead and Baby Gráinne, brother of Charlie, Paddy, Patsy, Sheila, Maureen and the late Terry and Rosa, adored grandad of Mairead, Néidín, Aisling , Daniel, Dylan, Adam, Colleen, Anna, Conor, James and Sarah and son of the late Charles and Maureen, Bridge Street.

He will be sadly missed by his sorrowing wife, daughters, son, sons-in-law Brian, Danny, Connor, Peter, Shane and Michael, daughter-in-law Patricia, grandchild­ren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Private funeral.

Terry (Scobie) Brennan, Ghan Road, Carlingfor­d, whose death occurred on 19 June, 2020, peacefully at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Formerly of E.S.B and a member of Louth County Council and Seanad Eireann. Predecease­d by his parents Larry and May. Also by Josephine and his brothers Hugh and Anthony. Very deeply regretted by his beloved wife Aileen, daughter Tanya and sons Bobby and David. Patricia McGuire (née Sharkey), Castle Park and formerly of Boyle O’Reilly Terrace, Dundalk, whose death occurred on 18 June, 2020, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Beloved wife of Patsy and devoted mammy of Donna, Catherine, Carmel and Caroline. Predecease­d by her parents John and Mary, She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, daughters, brothers John and Martin, sisters Kathleen, Pauline and Evelyn, sons in-law Mark, Fintan, Francis and Keith, grandchild­ren Aoife, Francis, Alannah, Adam, Claudia, Éirn, Jessica and Joshua, brothers and sisters in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
