New record from LCMS

-

To mark the dates that the this year’s Stations of the Sun contemporary music festival should have been taking place in Dundalk, Louth Contemporary Music Society announced the release of ‘Irish Landscape with Rain’. This recording is of a specially commissioned piece by the Cuban composer/guitarist Leo Brower, who was to have been one of the featured artists at this year’s festival. The piece was written for four guitarists but the recording sees the renowned Irish guitarist Alec O’Leary playing all four parts. The recording is available from the LCMS website and can be downloaded from bandcamp.
