One in a million

What a marvellous achievement and how pleasing and satisfying it must be for the local organisers that the Breast Cancer Research challenge crossed the €1m mark before end the month ended.

The challenge is the brainchild of Niall and Cara Carroll, and this year it has gone not only national but international in attracting participants to raise money for a charity so close to the local couple’s heart .

The participants were invited to run, jog , walk, wheel 100k over the 30 days of June., and literally thousands signed up for it within days.
