NOMINATIONS MEETING
Kilkerley Emmets hold a general nominations meeting tonight, Tuesday, November 17, online. Access details have been sent out last week. This meeting is an excellent opportunity for all club members to have their say, help plan for the year ahead and become actively involved in the running of their club. The AGM takes place on Monday, December 7, via Zoom due to Covid 19 restrictions. Best of
luck to Darren Geoghegan and the county hurlers in the Lory Meagher Final the weekend after next, against Fermanagh in Croke Park. Darren played a big part in the semi-final win hitting 0-7 against Cavan. All GAA club activity has been suspended by the GAA due to COVID escalating and the subsequent imposition of a 6 week Level 5, Lock Down. Members of the men and ladies adult teams remain available to assist anyone in our Community, Member or Non-Member, who needs help with collecting groceries, prescriptions, etc. All requests will be treated in confidence. Congratulations to Andrew McGuill on his marriage to Andrea Newell, and to Ciaran and Eimear Clarke on the birth of baby Jack. Condolences to Paddy Lynch and family Newtownbalregan, on the death of his wife Bridie and to Eamon Kelly on the death of his cousin Jason Mulligan, Dromiskin.
