1000 TULIP BULBS FOR PLANTING IN CARLINGFORD

We are very excited to be planting 1000 Tulip bulbs next week at the tennis courts and hope this will brighten up your 2021! We have been preparing the area for planting and will also plant bee and butterfly friendly perennial flowering plants.

Unfortunately our previous attempts to plant flowers here did not succeed as the hedge took all the water. The hedge has been relocated to several gardens in Carlingford. If you are a keen gardener and have any suitable plants we would be happy to take them off your hands. Please get in touch with our Facebook page. We will also be planting some seeds come March so if you have a greenhouse and want to help please get in touch.

At St Patricks GFC our weekly lotto is vital to the everyday running of the club. Due to Covid 19 like all clubs the lotto has taken a bit of a hit with the level 5 restrictions. We are hoping that when restrictions are lifted on 2nd of December we can recommence our lotto on the following Thursday, December 3, at 8pm in the Sports centre at Lordship when the jackpot will be €4,800.

We are trying to make doing it as easy as possible so people don’t miss out because of restrictions. There are weekly and monthly options. We have our online facility too; http://member. clubforce.com/mcfapp.asp

This link takes you directly to the online option.

Our Local shops and post offices have €2 a line or 3 lines for €5 envelopes.

We also have a direct debit facility which can be set up very easily If you’d like to contact a committee member. They are only waiting and willing to help out anyone unable to get their lotto in and would be glad to help out in any way. Here are some contacts to mention a few; Paul Breen-087680 3402; Padraic O’Connor-087239 7137; John Grogan-087967 8523; Vin O’Hare-087967394.

If you’re not in you can’t win!

NO AGM AT LORDSHIP THIS YEAR

St. Patricks GFC have decided that , as a result of the extenuating circumstances brought about by COVID-19, there won’t be an AGM in the club this year.

The present serving executive committee have all agreed to remain in position for 2021. Keep well and stay safe.
