■ Ryan Burns passed the 50 appearances mark in the National Football League during the round three fixture against Meath in Navan, a day in which he scored 0-4 from play. With his 1-2 salvo against Kildare last weekend, the Hunterstown Rovers clubman ended the programme as Louth’s leading scorer from play with 2-11 to his credit.

■ Captain Sam Mulroy’s second point against Cork in round two saw him go over the 300 mark, while he passed the double century in league football with his sixth conversion in Donegal in round five.

■ Midfielder Tommy Durnin reached the 100-point target on his 105th outing for Louth in the defeat by Cavan in round four, bringing him up to 7-79 for the Reds. His subsequent register in the rout of Fermanagh added to his impressive tally.

■ By palming in at the back post against Fermanagh, Peter Lynch struck his first goal for his county at senior level, ensuring all three of the starting full-backs this season – himself, Dermot Campbell and Donal McKenny – got on the scoresheet.

■ McKenny, meanwhile, appeared for the 25th time in the National Football League when featuring against Fermanagh. All 26 of his NFL caps have been as a starter.

■ Having returned to the squad late, Liam Jackson turned up his quarter-century of appearances in the National League when entering the fray as a substitute against Donegal in Ballyshannon earlier in the month.

■ Anthony Williams moved on to 75 appearances for Louth in the victory over Cork in Ardee. ■ In Armagh, Craig Lennon picked up his 25th cap.

■ Conor Grimes played for the 75th time in Donegal and then passed the 100-point mark with his goal against Fermanagh. He had been on 14-57 before the game and added to the sum with 1-2 versus the Erne county.

■ Four players – Niall McDonnell, Wayne Campbell, Dylan McKeown and Kyle McElroy – were handed their National League debuts in the round one loss to Armagh. But, of the quartet, only McDonnell has started a league match.

■ Louth’s 6-17 tally against Fermanagh was the highest score by any side across this season’s NFL.
