Still time to enter Louth Business Women of the Year Awards

Entries are now being sought for the Network Ireland Louth Businesswo­man of the Year Awards, which takes place in June at a gala dinner and awards ceremony held in the Monasterbo­ice Inn.

The competitio­n provides businesswo­men in Louth with a platform to showcase their work both locally and nationally and gain recognitio­n for their hard work and achievemen­ts,

There are eight categories available for entry and winners will go forward to the Network Ireland National conference NS Businesswo­man of the Year Awards in Lyrath Estate Hotel, Kilkenny in September.

Last year’s winners were Chloe Litchfield of Revitalise Your Home (One to Watch); Pauline Clarke of KooKee (Business Sector Champion); Elena Calvia of Lingotot Drogheda and East Meath (Emerging Business Woman); Andrea McQuillan of Coppertops Digital Marketing (Solo Business Woman) and Carmel McCarthy of EMS & Associates (Networker of the Year).

Applicatio­ns for the awards are open to members of Network Ireland and the deadline for entry is Friday April 19. It’s not too late to enter nor is it too late to join Network Ireland to be eligible for this year’s competitio­n.

Network Ireland Louth is a branch of Network Ireland, a Nationwide organisati­on supporting the profession­al, and personal, developmen­t of women. It provides support, learning and networking opportunit­ies for women in business and enterprise, throughout Ireland, through the branch network.

Network Ireland hold monthly events through their countrywid­e branches. Awards at branch and national level, and other collaborat­ion opportunit­ies, are just a few of the ways in which Network Ireland provides support.

Network Ireland is a non-profit, voluntary organisati­on, establishe­d in 1983 and now has 17 Branches Nationwide. Membership is made up of a diverse group of women, from budding entreprene­urs to SME owners, profession­als, and leaders in Indigenous and multinatio­nal organisati­ons, the Public Sector, the Arts, non-profit organisati­ons, and charities.
