The third round of the Intermedia­te League is at home this Saturday at 7.00pm against St Josephs.

The junior team play away to Naomh Martin this Wednesday, April 17, at 7.00pm. The U14 Boys play away to Mochtas on Saturday, April 27, at 2.00pm. The U14 Girls play at home to Cooley this Thursday, April 18, at 6.15pm. The U16 Girls play at home this Wednesday, April 17, v Fechins at 6.45pm. The Ladies play Div 1 League away to Blues this Friday, April 19, at 8.00pm, having lost to Cooley on Sunday last.

In Group one of the Senior Football Championsh­ip are St Brides, Dreadnots, St Patricks. The club is currently compiling a Centenary Yearbook, so any memorabili­a that members or anybody may have no matter how old or new is welcome. PARISH CENTRE

It is proposed to lease Knockbridg­e Parish Centre to a new Community Developmen­t Group in Knockbridg­e with the aim of upgrading and further developmen­t of the existing facilities. This will enable the Centre to become eligible for grant funding. CONFIRMATI­ON

Congratula­tions to the boys and girls who received the Sacrament of Confirmati­on on Friday, April 12, from celebrant Bishop Eamon Martin.

Rosary and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament on Fridays from 10.00am to 10.00pm. Encounteri­ng Christ continues on Sundays at 2.00pm in the Church. First Holy Communion will take place on Saturday, May 18.

The Youth Club meet on Sunday evenings in Knockbridg­e Community Centre at 7.00pm.

The Armagh Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place from May 12- May 17, with bookings now open for Pilgrims and Assisted Pilgrims. Cost is €895 per person sharing with single supplement of €180. This organisati­on has a national support for older people to enable them to stay living at home for longer.
