KILLAVULLEN LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB

Killavullen Ladies Football Club would like to express its heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our table quiz on Friday night, September 9th. Hosted by the Junior Ladies Team and management, we have raised vital funds for the club. We were blown away with the turnout on the night, and the support from people who could not be there, we are so thankful for this. As our Juvenile and Adult club are collectively one club, all monies raised will benefit players from U6 to the adult club.

We wish to thank all the businesses and organisations that supported us, either through donations and/or prizes for our raffle. We would like to thank the Haven Bar for hosting the quiz and providing hot food and donating to our fundraiser. Thank you to Tom Lane who was MC for the night and to John Hannon who prepared the questions. Thank you to Alan Buckley and friends for the music afterwards.

But none of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of Killavullen parish. A GAA club success is driven by the community that surrounds it and we are one lucky club to have this. Looking forward to next year’s quiz already.
