Games tour this weekend

-

A feast of annual festive walks, hikes, tours and safaris beckon enthusiasts next weekend in Mitchelstown and south Limerick. Mitchelstown Traditional Games tour will be conducted on Saturday, October 7th starting at Clongibbon Hotel (P67 N726), New Square at 11am.

Enjoy a myriad of traditional games demos: hurling (world's fastest field game), skittles (Mitchelstown has hosted many national finals), horse shoe throws, road bowls and welly throws. No experience needed to achieve that 'wow factor' when grasping that camán/hurley and delivering that sliothar. Enjoy exuberance in handling skittle throws, horse shoes, 28 ounce road bowls and green wellies.

Contact leader Seamus Fox 087-3589734 to book places. Share this novel 2 hour tour with folks home and away.
