SENIOR LADIES

After a terrific 1st season, our senior ladies' awards night took place in Walsh's Yard Bar on Friday night last. Mary Hogan received the Player of the Year award and Mairead Coughlan received the Top Goal Scorer award.

A presentation from the team was then made to the management team of

Colm and Roisin O’Grady as a thank you on behalf of the whole squad. The night finished up with music by Pat Ronan.

PARK YOUTHS - NICE THREE PARK UTD 3 V WATERGRASSHILL 1

On Thursday night last at Brigown Park under lights, this re-arranged youth fixture saw Park Youths 1st div side claim revenge and all 3 points on offer after suffering defeat from the same opposition the previous week.

Park were well worthy of the win and set their stall out right from the start. All the goals in this game came in the first half with Park's goals coming from Brian Mullins, Sean Barry and Cian English.

The 2nd half should have seen Park add to their tally but the visitors stood strong and kept the scoreline as it was. This was a big win for Park, which now sees them in 3rd position in the table.

YOUTHS DIV 2

Our second youth team didn't have much luck on sun evening last when an understrength squad were beaten 5 nil away to Buttevant. This was Parks' first league defeat of the season and hopefully with other codes season now over, Park can start putting strong squads together going forward.

MEMBERSHIP

This is the club's last call on membership still outstanding. As of Oct 18th any unpaid member will be removed from the FAI comet system and therefore will no longer be able to train or represent the club at games. We are left with no other choice on this, as insurance is a serious issue for unpaid members.

ACADEMY

In order to try and facilitate parking facilities on Friday night at our academy we are left with no choice but to alter some of the start and finishing times for some of our teams attending the academy. Joanne will have sent a text to parents in advance of this Friday night.

SYMPATHIES

We extend our deepest sympathies to the Carroll family and the McGrath family on their recent bereavements. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
