MEDAL PRESENTATION FOR U6S
Mitchelstown U6 footballers received their medals at their last training session. The lads have been amazing all year. Thanks so much to everyone who made such a great effort to attend training, blitzes and matches over the season. Hope to see you all next year!
GREAT DAY OUT FOR U7S IN THE PÁIRC
Our U7 hurlers played their final blitz of the year, in a very well organised day out in Páirc Uí Chaoimh. They played some great hurling. We entered 3 teams and they played 2 games each. The boys received medals on the day for their hard work and commitment throughout the year.
U9S CONCLUDE WITH SOLID PERFORMANCES
The Mitchelstown U9 footballers finished their season with some hard fought matches in the Munster Football blitz in Kilworth. The boys faced teams from Waterford and Tipperary and although hotly contested, all matches were played in a sporting and friendly atmosphere.
A special mention must be made to junior whistler, Jack Moher who put in an exemplary performance, refereeing three of the matches on the day.
Great credit is due to Kilworth for having everything so well organised and the weather facilitated perfect playing conditions. The team was treated to a visit to Supermac’s after the blitz, as a reward for their commitment to training throughout the year.
Many thanks to all who contributed to making this a constructive and fun season for all the panel.
