U17s reach county final

-

Our U17 championship hurling county division 3 final v Western Gaels is in Bishopstown 4G pitch on Sunday 29th. Time 2.30pm and watch out on social media channels for details. Their path to the county final was made possible by the excellent victory they had over Newmarket in the championship final recently in Banteer. This was a lively match and there was a great atmosphere in a rain-soaked Banteer. The 4G surface certainly plays very fast and it took our boys a while to get used to it but they did.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

Our junior football championship final takes place this Saturday at 3.30pm in Kilshannig v Liscarroll Churchtown Gaels. Best of luck to all the lads involved.

PITCH REPAIR

This week repair and maintenance work begins on our main pitch, which means the pitch will be closed for the foreseeable future. All coaches remaining in open competitions please contact Will Fouhy, club secretary, who will assist in sourcing a pitch for training etc. Thanks to John Hurley and Pa Walsh for sourcing the fertiliser recently and to John Hurley for spreading it. Thank you for your support as always.
