Christmas party invites will be distributed on the night. Church gate collection for the senior citizens party will take place after Masses the weekend of December 2nd and 3rd. Senior citizens Christmas party will be held on Sunday, December 10th in The Arches Bar, Mallow between 3pm and 8pm. Musical entertainment will be provided by Edmond O’Gorman.
TABLE QUIZ
It’s time to don those thinking hats! The annual table quiz in aid of the Community Council Senior Citizens’ party will take place on Friday, November 17th in The Haven Bar at 9pm. A table of 4 is €40.
HANDING ON THE FAITH
Please contact Fr Gerard if you would like to become a leader in the Children’s Liturgy of the Word at Sunday Masses. Adult leaders work in pairs to lead a liturgy once every few weeks.
CHIROPODY

SANTA
Santa Claus is coming to Killavullen on Friday and Saturday, December 1st and 2nd this year. As well as his usual turning on of the Christmas lights as he leaves sweet Killavullen to return to the North Pole, Santa will also be available in his grotto to meet with young and old, hear their Christmas wishes and to give some good advice to all. Every year the committee extend an invite to those of all ages to pop along and meet Santa and last year they were delighted to see many people call for a photo with Santa - who would have previously thought it was just for children! It is the wish of the organising com
mittee that all have an opportunity to see the magic of Christmas in Killavullen. Heading into our 11th year now, the booking line to see Santa is now open. Call or text Marie at 086-8071807 to arrange your visit.
KILLAVULLEN CHRISTMAS DECORATION
We’ve had bells and baubles, snowmen, stockings, deer and Christmas trees. This year the Killavullen Christmas decoration is Santa Claus himself. These unique Killavullen decorations are always a big hit with locals near and far, with decorations hung on trees in Australia, France, UK and USA just to mention a few. If you would like to order decorations or arrange to have some for sending to family members before the postal cut off dates, contact Gillian 086-3845655. Decorations are €5 each, p&p extra.
The last date for standard worldwide postage is December 6th, European destinations December 14th, UK is December 18, Northern Ireland is December 19th and within Ireland it’s December 21st.
