International Seminar
IJKA Europe are delighted to announce that Utsumi Takato Sensei, World Chief Instructor from
IJKA, JAPAN, will be holding an International Seminar (Gasshaku) in Ireland this summer which is being organised and hosted by IJKA Ireland.
The seminar will take place on June 28th and 29th, 2024. Details regarding the exact location, training schedule and other relevant information will follow in due course.
IJKA Europe will also be holding a competition on June 30th following the culmination of the seminar, which is expected to attract the very best karateka from all over the world.
Fermoy Karate Club, being the headquarters for IJKA Ireland, will be spearheading this prestigious event.
Well done to Laoise Duane, our first junior student of the year for 2024. A delighted Laoise was presented with her certificate and medal after the junior beginners class. Keep up the good work.
Time to rid yourself of the holiday excesses, get fit and build your confidence, learn to protect yourself and your loved ones - drop into Fermoy Leisure Centre and have a go, your first lesson is free.
Training times are as follows: every Tuesday and Thursday evening all year round, junior beginners 7pm to 8pm, advanced juniors and teenagers 8pm-9pm, adults all grades 8pm-9.30pm.
We have the very best instructors in our club, most of whom are national, European and World champions. They will help and allow you to train at your pace imparting the skills they have learned over many years. Looking forward to seeing you soon, we have no age or mobility restrictions and we are a fully inclusive sports club.
