Training is back

-

All our teams are back training. From U5 to the Juniors. Team contact numbers and training schedule are on the Killavullen GAA website under the ladies section or you can message the social media platforms if you or your daughter would like to join.

GAELIC 4 MOTHERS AND OTHERS

April 3rd at 8pm saw GM4O kick off. Thirty-three ladies braved the elements and under coach Brian learned some new football skills, it is not too late to join. Training is Wednesday at 8pm at Killavullen GAA pitch.

U21 TEAM

Due to the horrendous weather, Killavullen GAA and clubs throughout the county were not able to allow games to go ahead as pitches were waterlogged. Our U21 team had a number of games postponed.

Thanks to John O’Donovan of Killavullen GAA for his patience and understanding during this frustrating time.

JUNIOR TEAM

The Junior team had their first game of the season on Sunday, 7th April in Cobh. The girls had to play on an extremely windy but dry day on a not-ideal pitch surface but despite the rough conditions, the girls played a mighty game, resulting in a victory. Congratulations to the girls, coaches and supporters.

U16 TEAM

Fingers crossed the rain will stop and allow our fantastic U16 girls play their first game of the season on Sunday 14th v Castlemagner at 4.30pm in Killavullen. Please support the girls.

U17 PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

The link to the application form for the U17 development program is up on our social media page. If your daughter is interested, training will take place on Wednesday evenings in Curraheen, Cork. Closing date is Sunday, 14th April, 6pm.
