Healy’s pub in Kilcorney available to lease or buy

A LICENSED pub in Kilcorney which also has outbuildin­gs is up for lease or sale.

Any punter who wants to get behind the counter at Healy’s pub can do so on a lease for between €120 to €140 per week.

However, if a person wants to purchase it outright it can be bought for approximat­ely €180,000.

According to Killian Lynch, auctioneer, this fully licensed premises which also has the benefits of overhead living accommodat­ion is for sale or lease as a going concern.

He said the pub has great potential for further expansion and it is situated on 0.5 acres.

The pub is located just 10 minutes from Kilcorney village and about 10 minutes from both Banteer and Nadd villages. “This premises has a large catchment region,” said Mr Lynch.

There is private water and drainage and solid fuel central heating. The Ber rate on the property is presently pending.

The entrance of the pub has tiled flooring and the bar/lounge measures 7.1 metres x 4.3metres and there is also an open fireplace.

The lounge is tiled and it measures 4.2 metres x 3.3 metres.

The kitchen also has a tiled floor and it measures 4.5 metres x 3.1 metres. The living room has carpet and there is also an open fireplace and its measuremen­ts are 4.1 metres x 3.9 metres.

On the first floor, there are three bedrooms and a bathroom.

Regarding the outbuildin­gs, one measures 8.5 metres x 4.5 metres and the other measures 9 metres x 4.2 metres.
