CLAIRE HAS CURVE APPEAL

CLERICAL Officer with Cork County Council, 34 year- old Claire Lynch from Ovens was a runner-up in a national competitio­n to find a new curvy fashion model to be the ‘Face of Tempted’, the leading plus-sized fashion chain.

The final aptly entitled, ‘ The Greatest Love Stories ever told’ was alove themed and featured clothes from the gorgeous Spring-Summer collection­s from Tempted in sizes 16 to 28. The show, presented by Sunday Independen­t and Xpose beauty guru Triona McCarthy and model and actor Karl Bowe took place on Sunday in the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Northwood in Santry and was contested by 15 finalists from Tipperary, Galway, Westmeath, Kildare, Dublin, Waterford, Cork, Clare and Meath. Throughout the day, the finalists were in the capable hands of stylist Helen Egan, The Internatio­nal Make-up Academy and creative hair stylist Audrey Mulhall and her team. They were also shown how to work their curves on the ramp with internatio­nal plus size model Louise O’Reilly from the popular blog ‘Style Me Curvy’.

Overall the contestant­s showcased their talent and enjoyed the day’s fun. The total Prize Package won is worth over €3,000 and includes €1,000 ‘Curvy Cash’ to spend in Tempted Boutique. There is also a spa break for two in the stunning Seafield Golf and Spa Hotel in Wexford. In addition, a fashion shoot with fashion photograph­er Maria McGrail, and a team of hair, make-up and styling experts and a make-up course at The Internatio­nal MakeUp Academy. There is also a skincare hamper of gorgeous Neal’s Yard Remedies, and a holistic treatment from Tulia Therapies in Dublin along with jewellery from Lorna Gaffney.
