The large sum of €2,800 was raised in Clondrohid Parish over the Lenten period for Trocaire. Thanks to all who subscribed, and if that box is still somewhere in the house please submit it without delay.

FLOWER AND GARDEN CLUB

Members social evening, a garden visit to Crosshaven this Thursday May 21. Bus departing Macroom at 5pm. Annual Members Outing takes place on Saturday June 20 to Ennis.

Congratulations to De La Salle College on winning the Cork Colleges U 14 A Football Final in Ballincollig on Monday last. Their opponents were St. Francis College Rochestown. It was a sensational turnaround from being 10 points down to win on a score line of 2 15 to 5 4. Clondrohid can feel very proud of their two players, Eddie Duggan and Fionn Heffernan for their part in this great win. Congratulations to Sean Desmond on making the Cork U 15 Development Squad.
