Thanks to sponsors Deasy Pharmacy.Friday May 22 U12’s hurlers played Grenagh away.Playing with a stiff breeze in the first half the team should have been further ahead at half time but Lady Luck didn’t smile when Brian Healy crashed an unstoppable shot off the crossbar and several more chances went astray. To add to their bad luck they got caught for two soft goals against the run of play to leave the minimum between the teams at half time. Facing the wind the backs defended time and time again with a man of the match performance from Darren Lynch who cleared everything that came his way. With only a point still separating the teams and with time running out Grenagh proved stronger and got a late goal to seal the win. Final score Grenagh 4 — 4 to Laochra Og 2 — 4.Thanks to sponsors Astra Systems.
