SYMPATHY
Pobal Réidh na nDoirí and Pobal Chill na Martra were saddened by the recent death of Monsignor Eugene O’Callaghan, San Antonio and formerly of Inse Gheimhleach. Monsignor Eugene said Mass frequently in our parish when an tAthair de Brún was absent. He ministered for over 50 years in the Archdiocese of San Antonio, Texas.
His remains were interred in the churchyard following Concelebrated Requiem Mass in the Church of St Finbarr and Holy Angels. Sympathy is extended to his sisters, Eileen and Josie, brother, John and extended family. Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam uasal.

This week’s save the date is the annual Gerard McSweeney Run, which will take place on Saturday, June 18, in Baile Mhúirne.
COFFEE MORNING
The recent coffee morning held in O’Murchú’s in aid of 96fm Radiothon for Cancer Services raised in excess of €1,600. This sum also included a no uniform day in both schools. Well done to all.
