CELTIC TENORS

Clyda Rovers in conjunction with Mourneabbey Ladies’ Football Club and the Hibernian Hotel held a very successful concert on Friday last in St James’s Church Mallow. The Celtic Tenors, consisting of Matthew Gilsenan, James Nelson and Daryl Simpson, were truly brilliant on the night. The music and laughter on offer was hugely enjoyable. After the music, the fun continued at a barbecue in the Hibernian Hotel.

Clyda Rovers and the Mourneabbey Ladies’ Football Club would like the thanks all those who attended on the night. Also the shops and premises who so generously sold tickets for the occasion – namely Deirdre Duffy in Luna Bella, Catriona Cronin in the Lime House, Derry and Doreen Murphy in the Railway Bar and all in the Hibernian Hotel. The response to the evening’s entertainment was very positive.

In particular, a special word of praise must go to Reverend Canon Eithne Lynch and John Coulter who provided the stunning St James’ Church for use on the night. The venue was perfect and as usual was in impeccable condition.
