SEISIUN

The annual Summer Seisiun at Bruach na Carraige in Rockchapel commences on Tuesday night next and will continue each Tuesday during July and August commencing each night at 9 p.m.

This consists of an hour long performanc­e of top quality traditiona­l music, song and dance performed by the acclaimed Bruach na Carraige group.

This will be followed by refreshmen­ts and the second half of the evening with an informal session with audience participat­ion very much part of the evening. The Comhaltas annual summer camp commences on Monday next, July 4, and continues for two weeks finishing on Friday, July 15.

This is for children aged six years to 15 years and will include learning music for the first time or learning new tunes for the advanced player plus singing and dancing games and lots of fun.

The annual Mass at St Laitiarian’s Cemtery in Cullen takes place on Thursday, July 21, at 7.30 p.m.
