On Tuesday evening there is a double header down for decision the venue will be Hospital or Thurles with both Junior B Doubles and Golden Masters A Doubles Finals to be decided with a 7.30 start, at the time of writings semi-finals in Junior B Doubles are still to be played Boherbue pair Shane Flynn/Daniel Moynihan played Tipperary’s Noel Moroney and Kevin Kennedy last night Wednesday in their semi-final if they win that then they will be in Tuesday’s Final against the winner of Tipperary B v Limerick A. In the second final on Tuesday which is Golden Masters A Doubles Cork pair John Herlihy, St Finbarrs, and John Hedigan, Liscarroll, face Tipperary pair Paul McGrath and John O’Donoghue a game in which the Cork pair will have to at their to come out on top.

Also on Tuesday evening at Broadford at 7.30pm Under 21 Doubles Final will be decided with Liscarroll pair Michael Hedigan/ Daniel Relihan due to face Tipperary pair Daniel Hayes/Padraig O’Donoghue in what promises to be a lively contest, The Cork pair will be keeping their fingers crossed they can come out on top but it is not going to be an easy one.

In Ladies Open All-Ireland Singles Championsh­ip it is now down to semi-finals with the reigning champion Catriona Casey due to play Kilkennys Ciara Mahon while at the other side of the draw Limerick’s Martina McMahon is due to take on Kerry’s Ashley Prendivill­e. At Broadford on Saturday last Munster 60x30 U-13 Inter Club championsh­ip was played proving very successful from a Cork point of view with Fermoy taking the spoils defeating Broadford in the Final. There were three Cork clubs involved Fermoy, Mallow and Ballydesmo­nd with all three qualifying for the semi-finals,The first semi-final was an all Cork affair with Fermoy defeating Mallow, while in the second semi-final Broadford overcame Ballydesmo­nd. The Final was a cracker but the better balanced Fermoy side proved that bit stronger than Broadford. The Fermoy team was Cian Cronin O’Neill, Owen Hegarty, Ben Sullivan, Darragh Henley and Hayden Supple who all are very talented and promising young players.
