TALENT ON SHOW

The seventh annual Coachford autumn festival provides a rich mixture of entertainment for everyone in spite of some poor weather conditions over the weekend. The Rising Stars talent competition did exactly what it said on the tin and introduced some unbelievable talent to the large crowd that came to see the stars of the future. Music, singing and dancing filled the stage for two hours and left the judges with a very diffult task of picking a winner. Eventually they came to a decision and awarde the Bealnamorrive based band, ‘Good Vibes Only’ first place with the Coachford dancers, ‘Rincoirí na Laoi picking up second place and the all girl group, Fourth Harmony, getting third. Meelin girl, Nancy Lehane was highly commended by the judges.
