Every August holiday weekend Clonoulty Rossmore Macra host the festival. Events kicked off on Friday with a tour of Coolmore Stud, contestants were then treated to lunch before taking part in a Zumba class and meeting their host families. On Friday night the finalists let their hair down before a busy day on Saturday which saw each finalist interviewed by a panel of judges. Later that night the finalists were interviewed on stage in the festival dome. On Sunday there was a sports day in the local GAA club before the contestants, supporters, and families, attended a champagne reception and gala banquet in the Anner hotel where Sinead was crowned at midnight.

Mark Burnett said “the best person to get something done is a busy person” and this certainly rings true for Sinead; When she is finished teaching for the day, she can be found working hard as an active member of Macra, playing music and singing as part of the Rockchapel Comhaltas Group, or indeed on stage in a Banteer Drama Group production!.
