CHRISTINA (Chrisse) McAULIFFE (nèe Murphy) R.I.P.

THE death took place at University Hospital and Hospice on Friday, September 23 of Christina (Chrissie) McAuliffe of O’Callaghan Square.

Formerly of Ballydesmo­nd, Christina is survived by her husband Sean, son Brendan, daughters Karen and Gillian, brothers, sisters, relations and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on at 12noon on Monday, September 26 with burial afterwards to St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

REENA RUBY (nèe Aherne) R.I.P.

THE death took place on Saturday, September 24 of Reena Ruby, Linden Downs, Summerhill and formerly of Doneraile.

Reena is predecease­d by her husband Joe and survived by her relations, friends and neighbours.

Requiem Mass was celebrated on yesterday Wednesday, September 28 with burial later in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

To her relations we send our deepest sympathy.

MARY MURPHY (nèe O’Riordan) R.I.P.

THE death occurred unexpected­ly of Mary Murphy on Wednesday, September 21 at Cork University Hospital.

From a well known Mallow family in Pearse Terrace, Mary is predecease­d by her son Aidan, sisters Kathleen and Gobnait and survived by her husband David, son Willie, daughters Gobnait ( Willis) and Veronica (O’Connell) brother Donal, relations, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on on Saturday, September 24 at 12noon followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

JOHN HORGAN R.I.P.

THE death took place on Monday, September 19 of John Horgan at his home in Geraldvill­e.

John is predecease­d by his daughter Kathleen and survived by his wife Sheila, sons Denis, John and Jeremiah, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. John The Baptist Church in Ballycloug­h at 11am on Friday, September 23 followed by burial in the local cemetery.

THE death took place at Mallow General Hospital of Patrick O’Mahony of Annabella Park on Monday, September 19.

Patrick is predecease­d by his wife Chris, and brothers Connie and John and survived by his son Connie, daughters Lucy, Margaret and Deirdre, sisters Nora, Gertie and Peggy, relatives and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on at 12noon on Thursday, September 22 with burial later in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

THE death took place on Tuesday, September 20 of Denis O’Connor at his home in Lavally Lower.

A native of Scart, Ballycloug­h, Denis is survived by his wife Maureen (nèe O’Donovan), sons Denis and Edmond, daughter Margaret, sisters Joan, Chrissie and Betty, relations and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated at 2pm in the Church of the Resurrecti­on on Friday, September 23 followed by burial in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.
