Award winning salon Brush ‘n’ Blush make bridal pampering a priority...

-

FINDING a private retreat to prepare for the big day can be difficult for brides given the hustle and bustle that comes with busy wedding day schedules. Throw in nerves, excitement and a need to have everything just right and it can leave a bride feeling stressed. Well, worry no more for if all this sounds like the kind of scenario you wish to avoid, then look no further than Brush ‘N’ Blush at Caheranne Village, Ballyvelly, Tralee – recently voted ‘Hair Salon of the Year, Southwest Winner 2016’ .

At Brush ‘N’ Blush, brides will find the right blend of comfort and professional service where Francis and Maureen McCarthy will ensure your pre-wedding preparations are given top priority. Brush ‘N’ Blush have now included an exclusive room which the bridal party will have all to themselves as they enjoy the sort of pampering a wedding morning truly deserves. New bridal pamper room is proving popular…

“We opened a new pamper room especially for bridal parties. It consists of a comfortable, private consultation area where the bridal party can talk about the wedding, dresses and headpieces in comfort and we find this is very relaxing for them as they can come in, have a coffee, and discuss what kind of wedding package they want,” said Francis McCarthy.

In addition, Maureen McCarthy specialises in upstyles for weddings and special occasions and Maureen did her training with the Powder Room Girls in Dublin – who specialise in weddings and red carpet functions – so Maureen has the right experience having also worked for three years doing hair and make-up for the Roses.

Since it first opened two-and-half years ago, Brush ‘N’ Blush quickly recognised the growing need to focus more on bridal pampering and this new venture has received a huge response.

“For the pre-wedding preparation we offer complementary buffet for the wedding party on the morning of the wedding and we also do nails, make-up, lashes, waxing and Bellamianta spray tan, which is very popular right now. Any combination of the above can be catered for in a package and we cater for all budgets. Also, with every wedding booking we offer a free hair and makeup trial for the bride.”

Francis continued: “We just find the room is great as brides can be nervous on the morning of the wedding and they can just come in and get away from it all for a while as the house can be very busy. It’s a newly renovated room and we find people do like the extra comfort of a private room. If it’s a local wedding, Maureen will also call to the house to make those last minute checks with the head piece and make sure everything is perfect. Basically, we aim to make your pre-wedding preparations our priority so be sure to give us a call our pop in for a visit.”
