It’s autumn, why not turn over a new leaf when it comes to wedding photos?

-

IF there’s one season in the year that does spectacular colour, it’s got to be autumn. This season is renowned for its intricate colours with golden browns, dark greens, rustic reds, and golden yellows burning bright on every windswept roadside and footpath. I don’t know about you, but many people simply love the idea of incorporating such a beautiful colour scheme into their wedding day. It’s extremely popular stateside this time of year as ‘ the Fall’ is held in much higher esteem then here in Ireland - certainly in terms of celebrating its richness and unique display of seasonal colours which, let’s face it, no other season can compete with.

In America, couples getting married in autumn time are now asking their wedding planner to source as many of the brightest and colourful fallen leaves they can which are then used to enhance photo sessions. Imagine it for a second: you’re getting married on a crisp autumnal day and the photo shoots are about to have all this dazzling, natural colour in the background. It’s pretty easy to see why some couples think this enhances their wedding day pics. Okay, so you don’t have to show up at the churchyard or registry office an hour beforehand to empty out bags of dead leaves on the floor, but do discuss with your photographer beforehand the idea of sourcing plenty of autumnal colour as a backdrop for the photos.

Trust me, they’ll add the kind of colour to your wedding photos you simply won’t capture anywhere else. After all, it is autumn and you’re getting married so be sure to turn over a new leaf when it comes to wedding photos. Nothing beats nature’s own colours.
