THE LATE PA GEARY

THE death occurred on October 7 unexpected­ly of Patrick (Pa) Geary at his residence at Kilglass, Mitchelsto­wn.

The late Pa, a member of the farming community, was very well known in the local and surroundin­g area. His popularity was borne out in the very large and represente­d attendance at the removal on Sunday evening from O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Kilbehenny to the local Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Monday. Interment took place to the Church Grounds cemetery in Kilbehenny.

To his wife Nellie (Nee Finn) sons Roger, Pat, daughters Catherine (Bolster) and Elaine (Cotter) sisters Kay (Mullin) and Ann (Smyth) grandchild­ren especially Mairead, great grandchild, sons in law Derek and Aidan, daughter in law Josie, brother in law, nieces, nephews, relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE JERRY BYRNE

THE death occurred on October 4 of Jeremiah (Jerry) Byrne, Skeheen, Mitchelsto­wn.

The late Jerry had been in ill health for a while which he bore with great bravery, fortitude and humour.

A native of Kilcock, Co Meath, he resided with his family in Skeheen Mitchelsto­wn for many years.

There was a large attendance at the funeral on Wednesday evening in the Chapel of Rest Baldwin St with Requiem Mass on Thursday in the Parish Church Mitchelsto­wn. Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery.

To his wife Bridget (Nee Parker) sons Richard, Gary, Dwaine, daughter Catherine, brothers Richard and Frank, 10 grandchild­ren, 3 great grandchild­ren, sons in law, daughters in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephes, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE OJARS SONDORS

THE death occurred unexpected­ly on October 6 of Ojars Sondors at Cork University Hospital.

The late Ojars, a native of Latvia, resided at 35 O’Neill Crowley Terrace, Mitchelsto­wn with his family. His funeral service took place at the Chapel of Rest Baldwin St, on Monday night with cremation to the Island Crematorio­u on Tuesday.

To his wife Gita, daughter Anna, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.
