SHEILA KELLY (nèe Scanlon) R.I.P.

THE death took place on Thursday, November 3 of Sheila Kelly in Athlone, Co. Wetmeath.

Formerly of Mallow and Dublin, Sheila came to Mallow and lived here for eight years with her late husband Sean and family at Sean Moylan Park.

Sheila was predecease­d by her husband Sean and son Paddy and survived by her son Johnny (Spa Walk) daughters Madeline (Roscommon) and Phyllis (Surrey), relations and friends. Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Anthony’s Franciscan Church in Athlone on Saturday, November 5 with burial later in Cornamagh Cemetery.

EILEEN O’FLAHERTY (nèe Ryan) R.I.P.

THERE was deep shock and sadness in the community on the news of the unexpected passing of Eileen O’Flaherty at her home in Connolly Avenue on Saturday, November 12.

Eileen will be remembered as a very friendly woman who greeted everyone with a smile.

She is predecease­d by her son Colin and survived by her husband Colm, sons Colm, Cian, Conor and Cormac, daughter Kelly, parents Hannah and Connie, brother Connie, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in St. Mary’s Church on Wednesday, November 16 with burial afterwards to St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.

DONIE MOLONEY R.I.P.

THE death took place on Wednesday, November 9 of Donie Moloney at Bridhaven Nursing Home.

From Lower Quartertow­n, Donie worked for many years in the maintenanc­e section at the Borden Milk Powder Plant at West End in Mallow.

Donie is survived by his wife Catherine, sons Trevor, Paul and Don, brother Willie, sisters Helen and Elsie, extended family and friends.

Requiem Mass was celebrated in the Church of the Resurrecti­on on Friday, November 11 with burial later in St. Gobnait’s Cemetery.
