GLOBAL multi-award winner Joan Cashman has been styling the nation for over two decades. Her vast internatio­nal experience as Head of Colour Me Beautiful and global trainer led to the launch of her unique colour and image academy in 2006, with schools in Cork, Limerick and Dublin today.

Joan provides specialise­d training in make-up artistry and fashion styling to students aspiring to careers in the fashion and make-up industries.

Joan’s work is varied - she hosts ‘Image for Business’ days with small companies, large corporatio­ns and organisati­ons. She styles men and women of all ages and walks of life, where Joan’s services are specifical­ly tailored to her client and their needs.

A typical day for Joan may include a personal shopping trip with a client, colour analysis or a corporate workshop. Joan also provides training to personnel from well-known department stores nationwide.

She advises corporate clients and their staff on how to dress with maximum impact for the results they want. She also gives advice on dressing for public speaking, presentati­ons, as well as appropriat­e attire for interviews, events, special occasions and photo shoots.

Joan proudly continues to hold her record as one of Europe’s leading award winning image consultant­s. She won the inaugural Rabot Tweetie Award for Fashion two years in a row, 2013 & 2014, and won the coveted ‘Stylist of the Year’ 2015 with Hi Magazine Tia Maria Award and is thrilled to be nominated again for this year.

Joan recently announced her collaborat­ion with Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School in Dublin, Ireland’s leading private beauty school, now in business for over 45 years. This exciting collaborat­ion will see Bronwyn Conroy Beauty School and The Colour and Image Academy training top talent for the make-up and fashion industries.

Joan was recently approached by a well-known publisher to write a book on style; due to go to print in 2018. This has been a lifelong ambition of Joan’sJoa and something that has been in tthe pipeline for a while. This willwil catapult ‘ The Joan Cashman Colour and Image Academy’ to a global audience and secure her place as an expert on style, giving internatio­nal students the opportunit­y to travel to IrelandI to train in Joan’s unique academy.a

In 2006 Joan launched her landmarkl Academy in Cork City and expanded to locations in Limerick and Dublin. Joan putsp its success down to her enthusiasm, hard work and love of people and for what she canc do for them, as well as her creative flare and knowledge of the fashion industry.

Hours of preparatio­n go into keeping up with the constant changing trends and promoting the academy as a centre of excellence.
