Mild conditions and seasonal music in the background added to the atmosphere where competitively at the end of the circuit, overall victory belonged to Leevale’s Alfie Davis.

A 17.07 minute time proved good enough for Davis to succeed, bettering Banteer’s Barry Meade and Willie O’Donoghue (Mooreabbey Milers) by 27 seconds and 70 seconds respectively.

From the senior ladies, Carol Finn (Leevale) collected the spoils from Eavan Long and Noreen Harvey.
