CBS hurlers in two county finals
Mitchelstown CBS hurlers had two good wins during the week in Cork Colleges hurling semi finals.
On Tuesday the Under 16 hurlers played Ballincollig in Ballygarvan. CBS led 1-5 to 0-5 at half time. They did well in the second half and emerged close winners in the end by 2-7 to 0-9. They will now face Spiorad Naomh in the Co final in early January.

On Wednesday the Senior hurlers played Presentation Cork in the Cork Colleges Senior B HC semi final at Kildorrery. CBS dominated from the start. They had four goals in the first half that had them 4-8 to 0-7 clear at the interval.
The trend was much the same in the second half with the City side getting their goal in the closing moments. CBS won out by 6-15 to 1-12 in the end. They will face Colaiste Choilm Ballincollig in the Co final.
