THE LATE WILLIAM JOE CAPLICE

The death occurred after an illness at St Patrick’s Hospital Fermoy on December 6 of Willie Joe Caplice, Kildrum, Mitchelsto­wn.

The late Willie Joe as he was best known was in his mid 60s and a very popular member in the local area. He was predecease­d by his late Father Mick and mother Brigid (Nee Keating)

There was a large and representa­tive attendance at the funeral on Thursday evening at the Chapel of Rest Baldwin St and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Friday. Interment took place to the Church Yard Cemetery.

To his sister Breeda (Murphy) brother in law Colman, nieces, Sinerad, Ciara, relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE ANNIE LEE-O’KEEFFE

The death occurred at Strawhall Nursing Home Fermoy on December 6 of Annie Lee- O’Keeffe (Nee Hegarty), The Lough, Ballindang­an.

The late Annie was in her 94th year. She was wife of the late Jack Lee and the late Jack O’Keeffe.

To her daughters Hannah (Harrington) Bridget (Kilford) sons Dave, Pat and John, brother Billy, sisters Frances (Keighery) Pauline (Burton) son in law John Harrington, daughter in law Margaret, grandchild­ren, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE PATRICK LEONARD

The death occurred after an illness of Patrick (Patsy) Leonard, Bawnard Burncourt, on December 5 at South Tipperary General Hospital Clonmel.

The late Pat, who was aged in his early 60s, was very well known in the Burncourt area and his popularity was borne out in the large and representa­tive attendance present at O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home Kilbehenny on Thursday evening and also at the Requiem Mass and burial in Burncourt the following day. Interment took place th the adjoining cemetery.

To his wife Mary (Nee Aherne) mother Eileen, sister Hannah Slattery (Mitchelsto­wn) brother Michael, brother in law Willie, sister in law Karen, uncle, aunts, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE DAVID HAMILTON

The death occurred on December 8 of David Hamilton at St Vincent’s Hospital Dublin. The late Davidl, formerly of Mitchelsto­wn, lived with his family in Sandycove, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin.

He is survived by his wife Kay, sons Richard, David daughter Vida, daughter in law Marilyne son in law Paul, grandchild­ren David, Emily, Liam, Alex,

There was a large attendance at the funeral on Friday in Quinn’s Funeral Home, Glasthule, and also at the Requiem Mass on Saturday in the Church of the Assumption Dalkey. Cremation took place in Mount Jerome Crematoriu­m.

THE LATE KIERAN COLGAN

The death occurred following a traffic accident in Ballyhooly on Monday December 5 of Kieran Colgan, a native of Prosperous Co Kildare who lived at 86 Pairc an gCapall, Kilworth.

The late Kieran was very well known in sporting circles. He was aged just 21, and a former student of Mitchelsto­wn CBS. He played underage football for Mitchelsto­wn and was a keen soccer player with Park United.

There was a very large and representa­tive attendance at the removal on Wednesday evening from O’Sullivan’s Funeral Kilbehenny to Mitchelsto­wn Parish Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Thursday. Interment took place to Brigown New Cemetery.

To his mother Karen, John, dad Pat, Ann, sister Olivia, brother Darragh, sisters Shauna, Ashley, Heather, grandmothe­r Angela, uncles, aunts, cousins, relatives and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.
