DUCK RACE

Araglen Desmonds Bui ladies football club are presently fundraisin­g and staging a duck race in Ballydesmo­nd on St Stephen’s Day at midday. The players are currently selling lines at €5 per line with prizes as follows: First €300, second €150, third €50, fourth €25.

The club have also announced the date for their annual social. The venue is the Riverislan­d Hotel, Castleisla­nd and the date is January 28.
