SEPTEMBER:

The September Horse Fair returns for a long standing tradition. Duhallow Vintage Club host inaugural Ted Collins Memorial Run.

Cork Firefighte­rs Ladder Climb supports City Hospitals Childrens Club. Cullen remembers special Commemorat­ion of the 1916 Rising and War of Independen­ce.

Millstreet GAA host Golf Classic. Enthusiast­ic Millstreet Tidy Town Associatio­n dwell into an analysis of its 2016 submission that earned six mark increase, double success follows on Co. Anti Litter Challenge triumph.

Millstreet native Fintan Cronin enjoys “a trip of a lifetime” after travelling on the iconic Route 66 in the USA by motor bike in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital. Cullen Piper Con Houlihan wins All Ireland championsh­ip in Belfast.

Millstreet stages 34th National Dairy Show on its return to the spacious Green Glens Complex. Families journey to Millstreet for the 30th Owners Pony and Young Riders Charity Show in the Green Glens Complex that gains internatio­nal status.

Rylane Boxing Club Fancy Dress Party in Wallis Arms Hotel. Patricia Guerin co-ordinates Coffee Morning in aid of COPE Foundation, Mallow and Millstreet Community Hospital. Agricultur­e Minister Michael Creed TD visits Millstreet Community School.
