THE LATE MICHAEL MURPHY
THE death occurred unexpectedly at his residence at Gurrane, Kildorrery on Saturday, January 21 of Michael Murphy.
The late Michael was very well known locally. His popularity was borne out by the large and represented attendance at the removal on Tuesday evening from Hannon’s Funeral Home to St Bartholomew’s Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Wednesday. Interment took place to the local cemetery.
To his brothers Thomas, David, Colman, sisters Nora (Dooling) Maura (Fouhy) brothers in law Tom and David, sisters in law Mary, Breeda, Catherine, nephews, nieces grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.
THE LATE MARGARET (PEG) FENTON
THE death occurred on January 22 at Cork University Hospital of Margaret (Peg) Fenton (nee Horgan) Ballinvoher, Kilworth.
The late Margaret was well known locally, and was predeceased by her husband, Tom. There was a large and representative attendance at the removal on Monday evening from Ronayne’s Funeral Home, Fermoy to St Martin’s Church, Kilworth and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Tuesday. Interment took place to Kilcrumper New Cemetery.
To her sons Donagh, Tomas, Johnny, daughter Marosa, brothers Fr Sean, Michael, sisters Sr. Kathleen and Noreen, daughters in law Rose and Irene, grandchildren Hannah, Padraigh, Rory, Ronan, Tadhg, Orlaith, nieces nephews, family neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.
THE LATE BREDA SMITH
THE death occurred on January 16 at St. Gabriel’s Nursing Home, Dublin of Bridie Smith (Nee Baker).
The late Bridie, who was in her 98th year, was a native of Mitchelstown. She was predeceased by her husband, Tom.
There was a large attendance at the funeral on Wednesday evening at Kirwan funeral Home Fairview Strand and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Thursday in St Gabriel’s Church, Dollymount. Interment took place to Glasnevin Cemetery.
To her son Brendan, daughters Mary, Vonnie, Nuala, sons in law Paul & Butch, grandchildren Jan, Matt, Eoin Sinead, Aisling, Ciara, Niall, Orla, Ruth, Sorcha, Cian, nieces, nephews grand nieces, grand nephews and extended family we tender our sincere sympathy.
