Mallow’s Walsh to face Clare’s Agnew in intriguing Munster 40x20 contest as schedule heats up

Friday evening in Mallow at 8.15pm Masters A Doubles Final is down for decision with Liscarroll / Ballydesmond pairing Denis Quinn / Ger Healy due to take on Liscarroll / St Finbarrs pair John Hedigan / John Herlihy.

On Sunday evening in Liscarroll 7.30 Mallow’s Tadgh Carroll / Ryan Harkin play Fermoy Colm Jordan / Jamie O’Donnell in Senior Doubles semi-final while on Monday evening in Mallow at 7.30 in Senior Singles quarter-final Tony Healy, Ballydesmond will play Daniel Relihan, Liscarroll.

Last weekend at Mallow, Kilworth and Ballydesmond Munster Juvenile Boys and Girls quarter finals were played with our Compunet IT Solutions sponsored players Cork facing Tipperary, two first round games v Tipperary had to be rescheduled and are down for decision at Liscarroll this Thursday evening at 7pm.

In the opening game Girls Under 13 Doubles Grainne O’Connell, Ballydesmond and Cliona Dunning team up while in the second game Boys Under 15 Doubles Stevie O’Donnell, Kilworth teams up with Calvin Conroy, Mallow.

The Cork players involved will need to be at their best as Tipperary are strong in both age groups.

In last weekend’s juvenile quarter finals our players fared well we did lose a few age groups by an ace or two when games are that close they can go either way. The following players qualified to meet Clare in Munster semi-finals on the weekend of Febuary 4/5 at Clare venues:
