MILLSTREET Juvenile GAA host their victory functions in the Wallis Arms Hotel on this Friday ( U12) and Saturday (over 12) acknowledg­ing regional, county and national success.

Keale Gaels, the Millstreee­t and Dromtariff­e amalgamati­on, inscribed their name on a county championsh­ip for the first time following a thrilling victory over Lisgoold in the Co. U14B Hurling Championsh­ip final replay. On that occasion, Keale Gaels lined out as D Hartnett; E O’Mahony, D Murphy, P Cronin; J O’Connell, R Daly, E Murphy; D Cashman, L O’Donoughue; E Sheehan, D Kelleher, B Murphy; D O’Leary, L Murphy, B Murphy. Subs. D Moynihan, E O’Sullivan, H Linehan, G Malizia, D Cronin, B Dunlea, J Buckley, D Buckley, P Murphy, A O’Connell.

Additional­ly, Keale Gaels added the North Cork and county U16 Hurling League titles.

Meanwhile, it was a productive season too for Millstreet and Cullen footballer­s under the Duarigle Gaels banner.

All Ireland success arrived on winning a Féile title in addition to collecting the North Cork U14 C’ship in addition to adding the U12 Football title and securing the prestigiou­s u10 Football Brian Cronin Memorial Cup in Dromtariff­e.

Duarigle Gaels captain John Hickey accepted the Brian Cronin Memorial Cup from Emer and Peter Cronin.
