THE LATE JOHN GALLAGHER

THE death occurred on February 9 at Cork University Hospital of John Gallagher, Daly’s Terrace, Kilworth and formerly Cork City.

There was a large attendance at the Requiem Mass on Saturday in the Queen of Peace Church and burial to Kilcrumper Cemetery.

To his family, sisters Catherine, Bridget, uncle, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE MARY (MAURA) O’BRIEN

THE death occurred on Friday, February 17 at Corpus Christi Nursing Home of Mary (Maura) O’Brien (nee Burke).

The late Mary of Newgrove, Ballindang­an was in her 91st year and was predecease­d by her husband, Terence. She was a popular member of the local community.

There was a large and representa­tive attendance at the removal on Tuesday evening from the Chapel of Rest, Baldwin St, Mitchelsto­wn to Ballindang­an Church and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Wednesday. Interment took place to Kildorrery Cemetery.

To her sister Kathleen Hurley, nephew Peter Hurley, niece Liz Browne, good friend Helen Maher, relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE PATRICK (FINBARR) O’CONNELL

THE death occurred on Wednesday, February 15 at Strawhall Nursing Home, Fermoy of Patrick (Finbarr) O’Connell, Ballykenly, Glanworth.

The late Patrick was very well known locally. There was a very large and representa­tive attendance at Martin Neligan’s Funeral Home, Fermoy on Thursday evening with removal to the Church of the Holy Cross, Glanworth. There was also a fine gathering at the Requiem Mass and burial on Friday.

Interment took place to St Dominic’s New Cemetery Glanworth.

To his wife, Nuala (nee Smith) sons Patrick and Daniel, daughters Emer Collins, Ann MacGowan, Aileen Dennehy, Mary Corsini, Finola Fox, sister Abby Ferrick, grandchild­ren Ciara, Niamh, Cian, Katie, Shona, Darra, Culann, Gearoid, Annie, Rory, Emma, Harry, Aoife, Fionn, daughters in law Gretta and Rose, sons in law Tadhg, Joe, Kieran & Stefano, sister in law Dympna, nephews & nieces relatives neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.

THE LATE MAROSA FENTON

THE death occurred on February 15 at Marymount Hospice of Marosa Fenton after a brief illness.

The late Marosa, a native of Ballinvohe­r, Kilworth and formerly of Douglas Cork was very well known locally. Her popularity was borne out in the large and

representa­tive attendance at the removal on Friday evening from Ronayne’s Funeral Home Fermoy to St Martin’s Church Kilworth and also at the Requiem Mass and burial on Saturday.

Interment took place to Kilcrumper New Cemetery.

To her brothers Donagh, Tomas, and Johnny, sisters in law Rose and Irene, nephews and nieces Hannah, Padraigh, Rory, Ronan, Tadhg, Orlaith, uncles Fr Sean and Michael, aunts Sr. Kathleen and Noreen, work colleagues at the South Infirmary Hospital, extended family neighbours and friends we tender our sincere sympathy.
