Coláiste Treasa TY students present ‘Cinderella’ musical

TRANSITION year students at Coláiste Treasa are putting the final touches to their musical, ‘Cinderella’.

The first of three shows will take place in the Edel Quinn Hall, Kanturk on Monday, March 13 at 7:30 pm. Two more shows will take place on Tuesday 14th March at 7:30 pm, and Thursday 16th March also at 7:30 pm.

Health Promotion week 2017:

Monday, March 6 saw the start of Health Promotion Week in Coláiste Treasa. First year students took part in physical activities, cookery, mindfulness workshops and a study skills session.

This Health Promotion Week has been running in Coláiste Treasa for many years and has been extremely beneficial to all students.

Irish Angus Competition

Best of luck to Transition Year students from Colàiste Treasa who are through to the final stages of the Certified Irish Angus Beef Schools Competition.

Luke Philpott, Neil Twomey, Sean Ryan, Peig O’Connor and Patrick Browne have been chosen from a large volume of entries to go forward to the next stage of the competition in Croke Park where they will showcase their ideas for promoting Certified Irish Angus beef to both farmers and retailers.

These students are in with a chance of winning five Angus calves.
