WELL done to Laochra Óg Junior B team on Saturday, drawing their first league match at home to Inniscarra on a scoreline of 1-11 Laochra Óg to 0-14 Inniscarra. Laochra Óg had to dig deep at the end of the game with two points down in the closing stages to draw level.

Meanwhile, Laochra Óg’s U12 Camogie team has been picked to take part in Caman to Munster this Saturday, April 1, in Mallow. Games vwill be against Shannon Rovers (Tipperary), Ballyea (Clare) and Na Piarsigh (Limerick). Girls are really looking forward to this day out and maybe, just maybe, a chance to play at Croke park On Easter Monday. Caman to Croker. 50/50 club developmen­t draw winners were Conor and Irene Murphy from Renanirree Post Office who won €440. The winner’s prize went to Eileen Murphy, Reinanirre­e Post Office. Next draw will be held on April 9.

Laochra Óg Easter Camp is on April 10/11 at Ballyvourn­ey Colaiste Ghobnatan pitch from 11am2pm.
